Attendance Logs: Date and time of check-in and check-out.
Location Data: With your explicit permission, we may collect precise location data (GPS) at the time of marking attendance to ensure accuracy (Geofencing).
Device Information: Device model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data for the following purposes:

To facilitate and verify daily attendance marking.
To allow administrators to manage employee records and view attendance reports.
To send push notifications for attendance reminders.
To improve the technical performance and user experience of the application.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal data to third parties. Your information is only shared with:

Your Organization: Authorized administrators within your company have access to your attendance logs and profile data.
Legal Authorities: If required by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.

4. Data Security

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. All data is transferred via secure protocols and stored on encrypted servers. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active within your organization's workspace. If you leave the organization, your data may be archived or deleted based on the administrator's settings or upon a direct request from the organization.

Data Deletion Request

In compliance with Google Play's Data Safety policies, we provide a clear path for data removal.

Method 1: Email your request to info@itechbuddy.in with the subject "Data Deletion Request - AttendanceBuddy".
Method 2: Contact your company HR/Admin to have your profile removed from the Admin Dashboard.

Please include your Registered Mobile Number and Employee ID to help us process your request faster.

6. Children's Privacy

AttendanceBuddy is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access the information logged about you. You may contact your organization's administrator to correct or delete your personal data. For technical concerns, you may contact our support team.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
